Senior Credit Controller Job in Preston PR11AH, North West UK

Advantage Professional are currently recruiting for a number of senior Credit Controllers based in Preston. These roles are based on a 6 month fixed term contract.
Working for a large brand name, this role is extremely pivotal to the business in reducing the aged debt. Your duties will involve:
- Reducing the 90 day plus aged debt
- Build strong relationships both internally and externally
- Resolve queries from start to finish
- Tidy up accounts and reconciliations
- Liaise with the billing teams to ensure that barriers are resolved and removed as quickly as possible
- Assist in the production of month end reports, KPI reports, together with ad hoc reports are required
You will be an experienced senior credit controller who is used to dealing with difficult and complex accounts. You will be used to dealing with large retail or large wholesale customers and be chasing values in excess of £300,000. You will be used to working in a large environment and used to be interacting internally with the billings teams, customer services and sales teams. Excellent relationship management skills are essential as you will be resolving difficult queries and be able to communicate across all levels from sales managers through to director and board level. A high standard of computer skills, especially with word processing for report writing and spreadsheet packages. You will be dealing with major business accounts which can only be accessed on multiple billing and collections platforms and you must be able to work well under pressure and be able to work to deadlines. As this is a large business, there is the possibility of an extension or a longer term role with the organisation after this project has been completed.
This role is paying between £19,000 - £22,000 depending on your experience. Advantage Professional is a leading international recruitment consultancy.
