Senior Credit Manager – Emerging Markets recruitment
This leading financial institution, with a strong focus on emerging markets, is currently looking to hire a highly experienced Credit Analyst to work within their growing Credit Risk Management team. The role will report through to the Director for Credit Risk Management and be responsible for the assessment, monitoring and reporting on the credit quality of transactions. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of transactions across debt and equity and also covering both corporate clients and financial institutions.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the risks associated with a specific portfolio of transactions.
- Regular review of specific projects and counterparties.
- Participate in the preparation of a quarterly Risk Management document reporting to the board on the firm’s exposures etc.
Essential skills and experience:
- Extensive experience within a commercial banking or corporate banking role ideally covering credit and/or equity.
- Previous experience performing credit analysis of financial institutions and / or corporate companies.
- An understanding of equity investments.
- Extensive experience covering structured transactions would be highly advantageous.
- Previous experience covering Emerging Markets is essential.
- Strong communication skills.
