Corporate Banking (CB) is the umbrella division for the UK’s Corporate Institutional Banking, Business Commercial Banking businesses and Global Transaction Services. The Corporate Banking Finance team, headed by the Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for working with the business delivering financial leadership, control, commercial insight and advice. Our finance community is located in several countries around the world, supporting UK and Global businesses
As a Senior Credit Manager you will be an important part of a team making significant lending decisions. You'll be directly involved in processing lending applications from some sizeable business customers, assessing financial and other risk factors, to decide whether or not we proceed.
You may be evaluating whether or not a current customer is heading for problems and at what point suitable action may need to be taken. You will gain a first-hand view of how experienced sanctioners work with other credit professionals, product specialists and relationship managers - whilst developing your own management potential.
You will have experience within Corporate Credit Risk with expert knowledge of Corporate lending processes, policy and procedures. You will have expertise in analysing and structuring of complex borrowing applications for large Corporates. You will also understand relevant financial products and current developments within the financial marketplace.
