Senior Credit Officer – Hedge Funds recruitment
Role Profile:
- Deliver recommendations to the Credit Committee for requests that fall outside of guidelines according to credit policy. Develop and maintain strong client relationships that are approved for credit.
- Managing the credit approval process by liasing with relevant departments and tracking progression of files.
- Conduct due diligence either by phone or at client premises to better understand the client’s business and add value to the risk assessment..
- Exposure Management: Collaborate with reporting analysts and the Market risk team to manage high-risk situations to protect the company. Proactively manage customer and counterpart exposure concerns.
- Enhance and standardize reporting tools as markets and products evolve globally.
- Solid understanding of trading entities as credit counterparties and demonstrate a proven track record and experience in doing so.
Skills Required:
- Experience with ISDA and CSA documentation from a credit risk perspective.
- Experience in dealing with trading entities as credit counterparts, legal structures, risk etc, due diligence, credit rating, etc, is required.
- The candidate will need strong analytical and quantitative skills that lead to effective decision-making.
- Understanding of credit management principles, concepts, practices, and standards and the ability to apply them to business requests and situations will be essential.
- Technical/Systems knowledge.
