The Team
The Credit Cards Strategy Development team is responsible for positioning the Credit Card portfolios for sustainable profitable growth by ensuring appropriate controls and strategies are in place to minimise losses and maximise revenues.
The Role
Provide support in the management of credit risk strategies for Credit Cards Originations, Account management and Pre-delinquency. This includes strategy design, monitoring and governance. Ensure that strategies are compliant with credit policy, aligned to the risk management strategy and overall group's objectives. Liaising with stakeholders in other areas to provide risk advice and input.
Main Duties
- Support management in the identification, development and implementation ofimprovements to the Credit Card portfolio Provide documentation and reporting of changes within governance framework.
- Raise all issues with line management in a timely manner and ensure possible impacts are clearly articulated to all stakeholders and recorded in the appropriate register (e.g. Risk Insights).
- Design and development of Credit Card strategies.
- Production of Strategy Monitoring reports and commentary to support senior management decision making within appropriate SLAs.
Experience Required
- Analytics or Business Intelligence experience from a credit environment.
- Knowledge of SAS, SQL or equivalent statistical tools.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business/Finance/Statistics/Economic or other related area
