Senior Credit Risk Project Manager recruitment
Candidate must understand credit risk management process and workflow, risk platform functions or common vendor risk systems, and have familiarity with the workings on common credit risk analytics metrics, and the properties and credit reference data structures.
Candidate is expected to be responsible for the execution of key credit risk infrastructure/analytics initiatives/projects and concurrently provide key credit business analysis and judgment support, as well liaison with multiple stakeholders.
Success of the position is evaluated against the following metrics:
- Credit Risk Project initiation by thorough planning with project sponsor and key stakeholders
- Provide credit business analysis expertise to evaluate current state, define target operation model, lay put high-level infrastructure design, and define project KPIs.
- Lead negotiations with external vendor and consultants to evaluate and finalize solutions.
- Set up robust project governance commensurate with best practice
- Program schedule execution, issue escalation and resolution
- Maintenance of all project artifacts and robust documentation
- Client relationship management
- Written and verbal project update and management information to stakeholders and senior management
Minimum Qualification and Experiences
- At least 10 years risk management experience in a credit risk organization, preferably at a sell-side institution with capital market operations.
- Knowledge and experience of project management methodologies and demonstrated use of tools and project organization structure
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written to communicate across various levels of the organization
- Candidate must demonstrate adaptability to strategic changes and demonstrate strong initiative and motivation skills
- Familiar with key IT and business design features of enterprise-wide risk systems
- Able to work under pressure and deliver on tight schedules
- BA degree. MBA and CFA preferred.
