Senior Customer Support Technician, Trading Systems recruitment

Responsibilities

•             Provide responsive, courteous, and efficient customer service via telephone, email inquiries, IM Chat and on occasion site visits
•             Provide education and training to clients on all aspects of CQG products, including market data, technical analysis and trade routing interfaces
•             Utilise and maintain customer management database software.
•             Undertake research, testing, data quality, and documentation projects as appropriate.
•             Liaise with Data Quality/Operations and Product Development teams in relation to and to resolve product issues

Education, Experience, and Skills

•             Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, technical certification or equivalent work experience
•             Minimum of 3 years previous work experience supporting other financial market data/order execution platforms
•             Operating system/software, network, and desktop troubleshooting skills
•             Microsoft, Cisco and/or Comp TIA Network+ certifications a plus
•             Programming knowledge in C# or VBA/VB.NET would be an advantage but not essential
•             Good understanding of derivatives and financial markets
•             Excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to work with people
•             Excellent oral and written communication skills
•             Ability to work well in a pressured and fast-paced environment
•             Multilingual/Bilingual in English, French and German would be highly advantageous, but is not essential

Working Conditions

The role is based in the CQG London office and will require regular office hours with occasional overtime and coverage of public holidays when necessary
