Senior Data Architect - Prime Services - Investment Banking
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Data Architect to play a key role in the design, development and roll-out of a completely new Greenfield platform for the Collateral Margin and Risk business area.
This Data Architect will have responsibility for the blueprint/roadmaps, data/technical architecture and principle functional/technical design of the new platform. This Data Architect will be responsible for defining Data Architect principles and best practice for large data volumes, historical reporting, data auditing as well as various of data aspects.
They will be performing data analysis on all inbound data feeds including reference data, Security and market data. They will be responsible defining data messages through their middleware technology and involved in carrying out Data Modelling for persisting of data and data stores. They will be responsible for the design of the data mart, database design, making sure the design is aligned to the overall project roadmap.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be the lead Data Architect for this Greenfield project where they ill be overseeing the data aspect for a global team size of 150 and working with a number of the latest technologies.
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
*Investment Banking experience
*Understanding of trade lifecycle.
*Experience working with Message oriented middleware (Solace, Tibco, IBM MQ, MSMQ)
*Experience working with Reference and/or Market Data
*Physical/Logical Data Modelling
*Experience using SOA providing Data Governance
*Ideally SQL Server or Oracle experience
