Senior Data Warehouse/BI Associate Software Engineer
Adecco Engineering Technical is seeking a qualified Senior Datawarehouse/BI Software Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity in Plano, TX!!!!! Data Warehouse / BI Senior Software Engineer: Creative, highly accomplished and skilled technical professional is needed to help design, implement and support services and features within the Data Warehouse. You will be responsible for creative and timely solutions that support business objectives. Required Skills: Must possess a minimum of five years experience and have demonstrable skills in the following technologies: Database/SQL (with emphasis on MySQL). Data Modeling and System Level Architecture Design. Java/C++ Experience. Perl or other similar modular scripting languages. Object oriented design and the use of patterns in development. Development and testing in a Linux environment. Experience with ETL (extraction, transformation, and loading). Experience with Database visualization tools (Tableau and Excel preferred). Experience with trouble-shooting and tuning data processing components/scripts. Highly desired skills: Experience with Distributed Systems. Working knowledge of scalable data architectures (e.g. Hadoop). Exposure to full development lifecycle: requirements generation, project planning, implementation, unit testing, documentation, deployment. Additional Requirements Ability to work independently and in small teams Good communication skills Good problem solving skills Good work ethic Ability to abstract complexity Ability to gather and interpret business requirements into a viable technical solution Educational Requirements B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related disciplines. Salary: Will be determined by years of overall experience not to exceed $80K, years of experience will be heavily considered.
