May perform one or more of the following: * Designs and implements system requirements for customers and analyzes existing systems. * Installs and maintains midrange database systems and related software to ensure stable performance. * Evaluates system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. * Evaluates, tests, installs, and modifies Database Management Systems for computer applications. Plans computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. Requirements: * Strong Experience with SQL Server 2008. * Ability to work closely with a development team on new product development, product launch and post-implementation support. * Responsibilities include Database design, creation, maintenance, performance and tuning. MCDBA certification preferred. All other duties as assigned.
