With Offices around the globe, this premier investment bank provides large corporate, government and institutional clients with a full spectrum of solutions to their strategic advisory, financing and risk management needs. Reporting into the Head of Database Management, you will be involved in the build of a Global Finance Platform that globally standardises and integrates daily and monthly finance processes and provides a common view and query on the underlying data.
Duties will involve working on Oracle Database performance turning, production support(3rd level), existing code review, corrections enhancement. You will also have sound use of advanced diagnostic techniques and tools to solve performance related problems and give advices and suggestions to benefit systems.
To be successful within the role, we are looking for a very experienced senior DBA with minmum 5-8 years Oracle DBA working experience plus idealy good mix Database development administration background. Excellent Oracle databse turning skills as well as good understand in new features and functionality. Large environment globally distributed team working experience. Any experience in investment bank or any large banks will see your application stand out from the crowd.
Opportunities exist for full time conversion based on good performance in this role.
