Due to the continued success of the NSW Markets division in establishing itself as a group of trusted advisers on financial markets risk management solutions and transaction execution services, the role of Senior Dealer Foreign Exchange has become available due to an internal promotion. The Sydney based division continues to maintain a strong reputation internally for the development and professionalism of staff resulting in strong career progression opportunities within the Commonwealth Bank.

In this role is responsible for selling Financial Markets solutions and transaction execution services including foreign exchange, interest rate and commodities products, to existing client relationships and delivering new relationships to the Bank and the Markets division. It is critical that you establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal peers and the Bank's clients to deliver optimal outcomes in meeting client needs. You will have already demonstrated your ability and/or have the aptitude to be a strategic thinker delivering tailored risk management solutions in a high pressure environment that requires a high level of attention to detail while prioritising deadlines. Highly motivated, passionate and ability to demonstrate strong initiative are key attributes that describe you.

A key focus in this role would be to grow and develop new and existing clients within the Asia region therefore Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills are essential.

Proven experience in a similar role and ability to demonstrate results in meeting and exceeding sales and business development targets. This role will suit someone who is ready to take the next step in further developing their career. To be successful in this role you need to have a high level of initiative and enthusiasm. You will be a self starter, highly independent but also a team player. Tertiary qualifications in finance, business or related field and/or AFMA Tier 1 accreditation will be highly regarded.
