Senior Design Engineer
Take the lead role in a multi-functional team to prepare design trade studies and evaluate competing designs.
Direct others in the structural and system design of large nacelle components and prototypes.
Will support preparation of new business proposals.
As a team lead, you will review others work for accuracy, including the form, fit and function of a component design.
Prepare 3D models and direct the preparation of 2D engineering drawings to define aircraft nacelle structures for static and flight test demonstration.
Presentation of design concepts to management and customers.

BS in Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience, or MS and 8+ years.
Required skills:
- Aerospace structural design experience
- Composite design experience
- Catia V5 or Solidworks experience. Pro-E or Unigraphics may be acceptable alternates.
- Experience and ability to lead junior team members
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with preliminary stress sizing
- Experience in aircraft or engine systems design and EBU design
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS Project
- Project management and planning experience
- ENOVIA
- Composite design experience
- Experience with moving structure and actuation systems design
