SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER / DESIGN MANAGER
Rare opportunity to join this highly successful and rapidly expanding division of a leading industrial group - respected within the international automotive industry for excellence within design, engineering and manufacturing. Due to continued and sustained growth, they now seek to appoint a Senior Design Engineer / Design Manager to join their Technical Division
The Role
Management of design, product validation and associated means; Tooling, Injection Systems, Fixtures and Validation Equipment
Managing specialists and experts from within the associated fields
Budget control
Manage and perform risk analysis (DFMEA + Design reviews, Quad reviews)
Assess Customer needs and draw up specifications
Manage manufacturing project review and realise reporting and action plans
Ensure design for manufacturing
Manage internal and external components specifications and drawings
Participate in the continuous improvement of the business
The Person
You will be an experienced Senior Design Engineer / Design Manager with in depth knowledge of automotive tier one plastic component product design. You will also be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and ideally be qualified in a related subject
The Package
The company are offering a salary of £42,000 - £48,000 p.a. + extensive benefits. The company have posted consistently good results and have solid future within the automotive sector.
