Senior Desktop Support Manager – I-Bank recruitment
Our client is a leading global financial institution. This is a team of technically strong desktop/ deskside support analysts that are responsible for a large scale enterprise trading floor support environment.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Supporting the desktops for the trade floor in Hong Kong and APAC with overall responsibility maintaining high standards of support.
- Managing the desktop support team of 10+ engineers in Hong Kong whilst providing technical oversight of the trade floor environment.
- Providing expertise to the team on desktops (Windows/ Wintel) and market data issues (Bloomberg and Reuters).
- Delivery of BAU support of and projects such as desktop upgrades.
- Maintaining ITIL standards across the group.
Requirements of the role:
- 10+ years desktop support experience with proven background of supporting desktops for a large investment bank.
- Must have banking sector experience
- 5+ years management/ team leading of desktop support analysts (ideally team sizes of 5-15)
- Experience of large scale enterprise desktop environments for the trade floor with strong understanding of market data (Bloomberg and Reuters)
- ITIL Certification would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
