Role Description / Areas of responsibility:
? Strong technology skill and solid business knowledge, able to do the development work alone or guide other junior team members to finish the work successfully.
? Smart, able to pickup new knowledge quickly.
? Good communication skill, able to interact with Tokyo and global IT teams and business users smoothly.
? Provide strong and timely second level support to run the bank team whenever necessary.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required
Essential:
? 5+ years work experience in software development
? Solid experience with technologies including Excel/VBA, C#, SQL, Java, XML, Python
? Familiar with development environment of Windows
? Good knowledge in Fixed Income areas.
? Fluent in English
? Good communication skills
? Be able to work independently
? Knowledge of Fixed Income business, both Credit and Rates area
? Experience of full project lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, version control)
Desirable:
? Familiar with C/C++
? Knowledge of middleware and distributed systems (Tibco, Tangosol, distributed caching systems and so on) in the context of trade processing is a big plus.
? Fluent in Japanese
? The ideal candidate will be a confident, smart, hard working, proactive individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills who has a desire to drive continuous improvement and the ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time.
