Senior Developer
Our client is a leading global banking institution. Due to a recent expansion here inSingaporethey are looking to hire a Senior Java Developer.
Key Responsibilities:
- · Develop customized software solutions or technically enhancing / adapting software using Object Oriented approach with Agile software development methodology (Scrum)
- · Defect analysis and bug fixing on the provided solutions according to the specific support and maintenance procedures and processes
- · Perform requirements analysis together with our business customers (co-located on trading floor)
- · Create technical and/or business focused test cases based on business requirements and the technical design
- · Unit testing and code reviewing of the developed software
- · Provide consultancy services in system architectures and application design to the team
- · Perform technical project management (activity planning, capacity planning, progress monitoring)
- · Provide documentation (technical specification/ documentation) of the implemented software for support and maintenance purposes
- · Define standards and methods for the development environment (e.g. tools, coding standards, build process, configuration management)
- · Provide consultancy services / close cooperation in the software release process
The Successful Candidate:
- · Min 5 years of commercial experience in software development using Core Java
- · Min 5 years of experience developing multi-threaded / concurrency applications, including code analysis and performance tuning / profiling of real-time, high-volume, low-latency (trading) systems
- · Relevant experience in managing a small team of developers and interfacing with trading staff at various levels is required
- · A good understanding of FX trading processes as well as of technical architectures in this domain is a prerequisite
- · Wide experience in Java and continuous integration Tools (TeamCity, JUnit, Mocking tools)
- · Proficient knowledge of Databases and Unix scripting
- · Wide experience in Enterprise Software Architectures
