Who we are
Optiver is a trading company providing liquidity to exchanges - thereby enabling investors to transfer their risks – and arbitraging out small price inefficiencies between related securities. Optiver does this business 24 hours a day and on all major exchanges around the world. Simply, Optiver trades on the financial markets using its own capital and at its own risk.

Founded in Amsterdam in 1986 Optiver is now one of the leading liquidity providers in Europe, the US and Asia-Pacific, with around 600 employees working on four different continents.

What you’ll do
As a senior member of our development team you will be tasked to scale up the firm's capacities to manage inventory. You will be doing this by processing, storing, servicing (to systems and users), and confirming its consistency using external data sources.
You will be expected to play a key role in streamlining our development process when needed, from source code check-in to deployment and finally to production (Jira, Jenkins, svn, git, …).
You have a proven track record working with C# and additional knowledge of C++, Java or Posix systems is welcome. Storing big amounts of data in structured manners requires in depth knowledge of SQL (preferably T-SQL) and if Map-Reduce means something to you, it’s definitely a plus.
