Senior Developer (Equity Derivatives Trading Systems) recruitment
Eclipse Options is a proprietary trading firm specializing in high frequency derivatives trading, including market making with its headquarters in Hong Kong. Combining our trading experience, technology and risk management, we currently trade the Asian markets and have offices in US and Australia. We are now expanding our activities to Europe and will start trading European markets from our Hong Kong office in September.
Technology is an integral part of our business. In order to address our development needs, we are seeking high caliber individuals to join our development team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Member of the architecture team responsible for design and implementation of our trading systems
- As a senior member of the team, provide expertise on technical / business issues to other team members
- Communicate with traders to collect the requirements of the trading systems
- Collaborate with project manager during the entire development lifecycle
What you offer
- 5-10 years of experience in automated high frequency/low latency equity or equity derivatives trading systems
- Knowledge of important topics in proprietary trading, including volatility trading, option pricing, complex trading strategies and risk management
- Strong development skills are required, preferably in a multi threaded java environment
- Strong design principles (e.g. data structures, performance, messaging middleware)
- Exposure to Eclipse IDE, CVS/SVN, MySQL
- University Degree in Computer Science or other related field
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
