The Senior Technology Consultant will have the following skills and experience: 9 or more years of professional IT experience with significant experience in financial services applications. Expertise in a variety of SDLC methodologies. Knowledge of current technical architecture, software and platforms including; MF, Windows, Unix, RDBMS, Java, J2EE and other object oriented design and development tools. Business Analysis skills such as; feasibility studies, researching solutions and alternatives, costs benefit analysis, business and functional requirements, process flows, entity relational diagrams,, technical design and technical specifications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience communicating and leading cross-functional teams of geographically and culturally diverse work teams including; management, system users, developers, QA, implementation experts and operational support analysts. Knowledge in current technology hardware and software platforms. Some knowledge of project management and the ability to work with project managers in order to create project scope, plans and schedules. Any experience with Rational Tools would be a big plus.
