My client a leading Investment Bank is seeking a Senior software engineer with a proven background in Oracle, SQL, PL / SQL, C# or C++ / Java and object orientated development, you will be working in an Oracle database environment you will be architecting solutions from a database entity and server applications, experience within a trading environment would be beneficial around options, futures and derivatives,

The role requires a good understanding of the primary PL/SQL and SQL - View interface libary and knowldge around Bloomberg and exchange data would be prefered

To be successful in this role you will need 

. 5 - 7Years in experience software engineering

. Over 5 Years in Oracle

Market Data Products Bloomberg Reuters

  • Library interface development
  • Sound programming knowledge in either Java, C#, C++
  • Investment Knowledge

  • .Knowledge in Legacy Systems / Micrsoft Acess

    . Database design principals

  • Performance testing

  • Bachelors Degree or higher
