The candidate will serve as a developer for multiple application initiatives for the SSgA Interactive Team. Analyzes designs, develops and maintains software applications to support business.
• Provides technical expertise in analyzing, designing, estimating, and developing software applications to project schedule.
• Develop and program enhancements, bug fixes, upgrades and interfaces to support the ongoing requirements of the business.
• Participate in and conduct design and code reviews.
• Effectively work with the offshore development team.
• Responsible for resolution, communication, and escalation of critical technical issues.
Skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
•Desired skills include:
• Deep knowledge of Java/J2EE including security and transactions
• Experience with XML, XSLT, JMS, JMX and web services.
• Expertise in Spring, MVC, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, ANT
• Expertise with Weblogic and JBoss application server
• Expertise with Oracle database SQL, PL SQL
• Experience in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Familiarity with LDAP, Siteminder or equivalent
