Overall Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a development team working on the Securities Intelligence (SI) project. The candidate’s primary focus will include the design and development OLAP Cubes/MDX. The role requires a well-rounded individual with excellent communication and technical skills. The candidate will work in a team based in Singapore in partnership with a global development team based in Raleigh, New York and London.
Functional Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate is expected to deliver high quality of software solution for the assigned development work on Sales projects.
- Play key role in architect and develop SQL OLAP Cubes / MDX.
- Conduct application unit testing and assist with system, integration, stress and regression testing
- Liaise with business analysts to shape and understand requirements for implementation.
- Understand and adhere to SDLC methodology/specifications for application development.
- Ability to work with other development teams and ensure that development is aligned to meet deliverables.
- Work with other IT groups to manage production code releases and troubleshoot production issues.
- Involved in full development lifecycle development projects.
- Test systems (e.g. unit, system, integration, stress, regression, migration).
- Contribute to the technical code documentation.
- Good understanding of software engineering principles and object oriented methodologies.
- Understand different Sales Credit system across IBD and IT strategies aligned with projects.
- Extend awareness of risks associated with Sales applications and of their potential impacts within IT and on the firm’s reputation.
- The candidate will need to communicate well with London and New York team members on both development and support issues.
- Staff may occasionally need to be on calls with other locations in other time zones.
Department Overview
Client Technology Solutions (CTS) is a global organization as a new horizontal within Investment Banking IT. Its mission is to build technology that enables the business to develop its client franchise within IB and to support the Bank Wide Key Account Management (KAM) process. The business functions supported by the new group include Client Relationship Management, Research Distribution, and Client Revenue and Profitability Reporting. The business departments served by the group include Securities Sales, IB Finance, and Equity Fixed Income Research.
CTS – SALES is a global organisation responsible for security sales. This group is responsible for providing consolidated Securities (Fixed Income, Equities and Prime services) management revenue reports and processing of multiple sales credit system.
