SENIOR DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER, GREATER CHINA

Our client is an international asset management firm an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high caliber candidate to join them.

Work with Marketing to drive acquisition of new clients via digital channels. This would involve working with agencies and implementing digital marketing activities as a core part of a multi-channel marketing mix, optimising performance and providing marketing metrics. Emphasis is placed on reaching and engaging the audience via mobile technology, phones, tablets and apps.  Growing mobile capability and migrating existing programs onto mobile platforms is a significant requirement. As is providing mobile expertise and strategy input to the wider organisation. Evaluating performance of digital activities and emerging opportunities in the digital media environment and it’s communication across the organisation is a vital component of the role. The majority of the role will be focused on digital communication to clients and prospects via efficient, innovative and measurable marketing activities. Take control of website content management to ensure web and mobile sites are continuously kept up to date. Improving the usability, design, content and conversion for the company websites and mobile apps. Monitor ROI for marketing activities by optimising campaigns and monitoring conversion to deliver maximum sales leads.  Run the outbound email database program. Manage and distribute video content across digital channels. Provide input to digital marketing policies, processes and best practices to be used regionally and globally. Actively migrate existing content, assets and programs onto a mobile based delivery platform, working with external agencies and internal technology development teams. Regularly report on website visits and digital marketing activity using web statistical packages. Help implement and manage the company’s social media program. Collaborate with agencies, other vendor partners and internal development teams to deliver best outcomes to the company. Evaluate emerging technologies to provide perspective for adoption where appropriate.

To be considered, you will be a university graduate with a minimum of 8 years general marketing experience with at least 5 years digital marketing. Exposure to financial services industry or related a definite advantage. Demonstrated expertise in display, email marketing, social media marketing.  Experience analysing and reporting on marketing performance. Strong affinity and familiarity with mobile technologies and trends. Must have enthusiasm for investment products and markets. Ability to communicate investment products in engaging and creative ways. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is essential. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and willing to accept new challenges and changes, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility. Well organized, efficient, reliable, and capable of managing multiple complicated tasks and responsibilities at the same time. The ability to prioritise activities and diplomatically manage realistic expectations with stakeholders. Ability to work as part of a team in an environment that demands excellence and enthusiasm. Experience with image editing, video software and web technologies would be well regarded. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, Cantonese essential, Mandarin highly desirable.
