Senior Director – Business Intelligence recruitment
This role will be accountable for managing complex cross-border projects, with responsibility for generating profitable business engagements and successfully managing all aspects of case budget. Client facing skills will be essential for this role, with the Senior Director responsible for establishing and retaining key client relationships at the highest level.
Due to the range of cases that this role will manage across various industry-sectors and country locations, a key interest in business strategy, global events and markets, with an awareness of working across different cultural and political environments is essential.
As a guideline, candidates applying for this role should be well versed in transactional due dilligence, commercial due dilligence, and other areas of corporate finance. Some exposure to Forensic accounting would be helpful. Those with a broad but deep understanding of the entire spectrum of company Risk will be the best fit for this role. As mentioned before, candidates should have had exposure to the Middle East markets either presently or in the recent past.
Other key selection criteria includes but is not limited to:
- Extensive experience in a reputable professional or financial services firm, or from an investigative/research intensive organisation.
- Experience in project managing investigative/research cases and/or investment advisory.
- Ability to drive forward and co-ordinate a number of concurrent projects and tasks, managing own time to deliver against competing demands.
- Proven ability to research relevant markets, analyse information and clearly identify commercial opportunities.
- Proven experience of delivering Business Development in an international professional service environment with a strong and active personal network.
- Extensive experience in analysing and interrogating financial data with the ability to translate key findings through structured analysis.
- Commercial understanding of both developed and emerging markets.
- Managerial level report writing skills.
- Presentation and client relationship skills.
- Strong interviewing and listening skills, essential for case-work development.
