Provides key leadership for Care Delivery workflows, information technology in the development implementation support of solutions supporting strategic KP Colorado initiatives. KP HealthConnect is a integrated clinical administrative information system that is deployed across all KP regions. KP HealthConnect enables us to leverage the power of our integrated delivery system to be the solution in heath care that is patient-centered, safe equitable, accessible affordable. The mission of KP HealthConnections is to optimize the use of the system across the Region in order to achieve high priority goals in clinical care business outcomes. Essential Functions: - Manages directs non-physician staff who participate in reqts definition, trouble shooting problem resolution of systems issues, end user training support, application of existing tools to Operations targets goals - Partners w/designated CPMG physicians to ensure that providers needs interests are incorporated into HealthConnect - Interacts w/National ROC teams on projects managed at those levels to ensure that CO Region's needs interests are represented - Ensures plans are in place to accomplish department goals, results tracked, product is delivered resources are appropriately allocated across area of responsibility - Manages activities of KPHC w/respect to all other systems interfaced to the electronic medical record, to ensure seamless functioning for the KPHC end user population - Maintains sufficient level of expertise in information technology to enable the Care Delivery business partners to play an active role in managing our IT projects investments - Manages business involvement in system requirements definition, testing implementation - Works w/other managers in Operations CPMG to develop communicate policies procedures regarding clinical systems utilization, security mgmt - Serves as CO Operations representative on various National ROC teams - Interacts w/sr director or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, regions /or business partners to resolve controversial situations, negotiate solutions, or influence other senior mgmt - Establishes strategy tactics for assigned initiatives contributes to corporate strategy formulation - Establishes ensures budgets, staffing, organizational design processes, schedules meet KP requirements - Manages financial aspects of the organizational area; accountable for direct budget may provide future financial projections for strategic plans - Directs managers, technical leads highly technical individual contributors across departments or units including external resources employees w/a matrix reporting relationship - Reviews integrates business/technology processes to achieve business results appropriate solutions for customers - Determines staffing approaches ensures HR/People processes are realized for the department including performance/reward mgmt, resource mgmt, compensation administration, objective setting/alignment, employee development/coaching training - In addition to defined technical requirements, accountable for consistently demonstrating service behaviors principles defined by the Kaiser Permanente Service Quality Credo, the KP Mission as well as specific departmental/organizational initiatives - Also accountable for consistently demonstrating the knowledge, skills, abilities, behaviors necessary to provide superior culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members to purchasers, contracted providers vendors Requirements
