JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Director is responsible for achieving strategic brand goals related to revenue and customer satisfaction which directly translate to Wydham Hotel Group EBITA contribution. Primary liaison with corporate departments for brand needs to meet both annual and long term objectives. The primary contact for hotel integration initiatives, major franchisee issues and guest issues. Eventually manage a remote team of Directors of Operations and Support Coach, mentor, and guide group directors to execute against plan. Manage an annual field marketing budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all brand integration strategies and tactics.
- Brand RevPAR achievement year over year for brand and as compared to the industry segment. Year over year growth in Reservation Contribution.
- Customer Service improvement (Medallia) and compared to JD Power.
- Retention
- Strategic termination of non-compliant hotels
- Corporate liaison for other departments that interface with brand - PA, PCG, Franchise Admin, QA, Marketing, Standards Customer Experience, Strategy, Finance, Distribution, and Revenue Management.
- Conferences and Regional Meetings.
- Coach, mentor, guide Directors to achieve brand performance goals.
- Solve elevated problems for Franchisees
- 4 yr degree plus hotel general manager experience
- 5 years multi-unit hospitality management experience. A masters degree a plus - (a combination of management, marketing, and finance preferred)
- Multi unit experience required
- Extensive operations experience required
- Management company experience required
- PL responsibility
- Hospitality sales experience
- Strong analytical and financial experience
- Keen understanding of franchise relationship management
- An understanding of managing large systems required
- Experience managing a field team
- Understanding of process and procedures
- Strong written and verbal skills
