Reporting to the EVP of Supply Chain Operations the Senior Director, Supply Chain Planning will play a critical role in ensuring accountability for the development and implementation of end-to-end supply chain strategies for all clinical programs. The Sr. Director of Supply Chain Planning will provide leadership and strategic guidance to the Supply Planning and Clinical Logistics teams to set deliverables and ensure successful supply planning to meet corporate drug delivery objectives. Selected areas of responsibility for the Sr Director:
Define and execute drug supply planning strategy
Manage departmental budget
Manage relationships with distribution vendors
Manage internal relationships with Clinical Operations and Compliance teams
Drive continuous improvement efforts within Supply Chain Planning
Who we're looking for
Bachelors degree with 10-15 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Planning, ideally in a large complex Life sciences business with global supply chain operations. Masters or advanced degree preferred. Will also consider former scientists/PhDs who have moved from scientific role into business planning and operations. Candidates must have proven track record in drug supply planning and logistics.
