Senior E-Commerce Analyst recruitment
The role is part of Commercial and Brokers eCommerce team whose objectives are to deliver additional GWP, cost savings and provision of an excellent online customer experience.
Requirements
Key Result Areas
- Delivering online channel projects including new products, delivery to new software platforms, new page designs, content and promotions with the aim of delivering increased broker retention and acquisition rates while also providing an excellent online customer experience.
- Coordinate and deliver both mandatory and ad hoc changes to all of CB eCommerce channels including DL4B
- Ensuring that all the eCommerce?s teams applications are tested to RBS Insurance GIA standards
- Maintain awareness of the latest technologies to leverage the online customer service experience
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the project management of the application development process including:
- Gathering and formulation of business requirements
- Creation of application specifications in conjunction with the business
- Relationship management with suppliers and partners
- Ensuring application development stays within budget
- Coordinating testing
- Usability and the Customer Experience
- Implementation Review
- Formulating an ongoing relationship with business areas
- Liaison with Group IT, Internal and external suppliers and stakeholders
- Be responsible for change management process
- Management of issue and defect resolution
- eCommerce administrative support
- Responsibility for internal and external eCommerce reporting
- Broker training and demonstrations
- Identifying and developing eCommerce growth opportunities

- Develop self in order to maximise personal contribution to the job
- Focus on costs, process improvements and/or efficiency to contribute to the GWP and ultimately profitability of RBS Insurance
- Reinforce the culture and core values of RBS Insurance through appropriate behaviours and actions
Be aware of and comply on an ongoing basis with the rules and requirements of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and any other legal/regulatory/risk management frameworks.
