I sat with my client over lunch and we spoke extensively about this role. They expressed that the right person would be exposed to a healthy balance of 60% Design 40% Project - across 20% Gold, 40% Iron Ore and the remainder 40% involving Copper and other base metals.
Technical Involvement - power system modelling, protection system design, fault calculations, switchgear commissioning, HV reticulation design and detailed design.
Project involvement - putting together documentation, interfacing between designers and project managers, responsible for sub-contractors.
