The Position

The successful candidate for the Senior Embedded Software Engineer position will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging and documenting software on embedded microprocessors with mixed analog / digital signals. This individual must have a demonstrated track record in building embedded systems, be able to work both individually and as part of a team and be highly energetic with an enthusiastic attitude and an eagerness to take on difficult technical challenges. The position is located in New York City.
Skills
Expert knowledge of C and Assembly
Familiarity with several MCU architectures and development systems
Good understanding of hardware
Well-versed in such communications protocols as CAN, LIN, SPI, Serial, etc.
Experienced in QA development and testing
Strong written and oral communications ability
Demonstrated first-rate documentation and process practices
Education and Experience
A BS in EE or CS; a MsC is preferred.
Minimum 6 years’ experience required
