Senior Emerging Market Sales
Leading investment bank looking to add a Senior EM sales person to cover European Institutional accounts (Insurance companies, Mutual funds, Asset managers, Pension Funds, Hedge Funds) to their sales team in LONDON. The ideal candidate will have a MINIMUM of 5 years experience (senior profiles welcome also) selling fixed income cash bonds (Municipals/ Money Markets/ Govvie Bonds/ Corporate Bonds/ Corporate Credit) to UK / European Institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients
- Take orders and execute on behalf of clients
- Improve levels of business passing through desk, improving profitability
- Focus on institutional accounts in Europe.
- Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas.
- Maintain and develop relationships with institutional clients and family offices in the USA
- Take orders and execute on behalf of clients
- Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas with regards to emerging market fixed income ( Sovereigns / Government Bonds / Corporate Bonds / Corporate Credit ).
- Distribution of EM Fixed Income, Local Bonds, CDS, EM Foreign Exchange
- Build and extended marketing reach for Emerging Markets products to global client base, cross selling of EM and G10 products
- Increase volume and profitability of existing client base
- Work with Investment Banking Department targeting new clients and expanding coverage
- Source new potential clients and onboard relationships in the USA
Skills / Attributes required:
- Minimum 5 years industry experience
- MUST have a very good knowledge of Emerging Market products and industry
- Must have market knowledge and experience in the industry
- Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
- Proven track record of impressive revenues generated from EMERGING MARKET sales
- A transferable book of clients based in Europe to bring to the new role.
