Senior Emerging Markets Economist
My client is looking to add a successful Emerging Markets Economist to work as a senior member within the Emerging markets economics division, working along-side the Chief economist. The role will be located in the London office however you will also hold meetings with the global economics team.
In order to apply for the position you must have covered emerging markets previously and have held a position of responsibility. You should have an excellent academic background with a degree in Economics from a leading school.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the LATAM region and be looking to expand to other regions.
You must have experience within:-
Monetary policy analysis and macroeconomic modeling within Emerging markets
Emerging markets foreign currency debt securities;
Emerging markets local currency debt securities;
Cross-country macroeconomic and financial trends in emerging markets
Foreign exchange rates.
International Relations
Economic indicators
Monetary, fiscal and exchange rate policy analysis

You will have the responsibility for generating and presenting the forecasts therefore excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
