Experienced Risk Analyst to join Leading Energy Major - London
My Client is one of the BIG 6 Energy Majors whos consistent growth and success has been dependant on the strength of their risk management framework and controls. Due to increased demand my client seeks an experienced risk analyst to join their elite risk team in London.
The successful candidate will be highly influential in the design, review, and challenge of risk pricing models in close conjunction with the Quant team within Optimisation. Demonstrating your deep understanding of the EU Power Gas Markets you will also monitor and analyse key gross margin risks and also contribute to credit risk policies. This is a high visibility role within the business internationally, giving you excellent opportunities to progress your career as an Energy Professional.
Candidates require the following:
-Top class advanced numerical degree level education
-Commercial knowledge/experience of the Energy Markets
-Prior work experience within Energy/Commodity Risk Analytics
-Strong modelling ability. VBA C++ MATLAB
