Responsibilities for Senior Energy Trader, Boston, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Energy, Power, Gas, PJM, MISO, Trading) role:
• Manage a speculative trading book covering the Eastern energy markets, power and gas, to produce trading returns for the company
• Implementing short-term trading strategies to focus on PJM and MISO regions
• Use fundamental knowledge of market elements, power flows, transmissions and effects of weather to implement successful trading strategies
• Work closely with other business areas to develop trading business across physical and financial sectors to utilize financial instruments, swaps and options
Skills / Attributes required Senior Energy Trader, Boston, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Energy, Power, Gas, PJM, MISO, Trading) role:
• Vice-President to Director level
• Experience managing trading portfolio across Eastern energy markets
• Short-term trading outlook and strategies
• Have an entrepreneurial nature and experience building a business
• Experience trading PJM and MISO
• Be willing to be based in Boston
