Senior Engineer for an Electronic Trading Firm recruitment
A major leading electronic trading firm is looking to recruit a Senior Network Engineer into their market making cross-asset global team.
The successful candidate will join the Network Engineering team as a Senior Principle Network Engineer. You will be a primary contributor in the design, implementation and management of the firm’s network infrastructure.
This will include but is not limited to:
-Planning and implementing network equipment, i.e. Juniper routers and switches, Net screen firewalls, Wireless AP’s, etc…
-Taking full responsibility for developing configurations necessary to implement or modify network changes.
-Responsibility for network troubleshooting.
-Taking ownership over the area, proposing and implementing network enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the network.
To be considered for this role you will need to have the following:
-8-10 years experience as a Network Engineer
-Experience in designing, implementing and supporting large scale LANs/WANs both Domestic and International.
-Advanced experience in configuring all types of Juniper hardware and Net-screen products.
-A degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 2:1.
