Senior Engineer
Why John Deere
- Provide leadership/Program Management for the Attachment Management Teams for Riding Lawn Equipment, Utility Vehicles, Commercial Mowing, and Golf product lines.
- Supervise Deere and contract personnel responsible for the design of attachments.
- Design Oversight / Approval of Supplier Designs for Deere branded Licensed Products and Outside Purchased Products.
- Evaluate designs for meeting technical specifications, product cost, project schedule, mistake proof assembly, verification requirements, quality and reliability risks, tooling costs, back up plans, etc.
- Work closely with Product Verification Validation personnel on virtual and physical evaluations.
- Work closely with part and tooling suppliers during product development.
- Complete full implementation of the product design into production, involving the support of cross functional teams.
