Senior Engineer Job in London, London UK
Our client is a major insurance services provider to high risk facilities including, refinery, petrochemical and oil and gas plant worldwide. With between 5 and 10 years experience in hydrocarbon or petrochemical engineering operations, the jobholder will join a small but highly motivated team providing technical support to underwriters for the purposes of establishing risk and setting premiums. Candidates will undertake physical/condition assessments, review safety practices and procedures and generally provide technical insight. Our client has specifically asked for candidates from downstream operating companies interested in moving to insurance and is not looking for safety specialists from other insurers/brokers or safety consultancies. Up to 80 days international travel a year can be expected. Spanish, French Italian language skills would be particularly welcome.
