Senior Engineer with USMC Experience (CONTINGENT HIRE)

CONTINGENT HIRE POSITION:
Functional Responsibility: Leads and directs the engineering team in the development/design or assessment of multiple or more complex system/subsystem level engineering products or support services. Capable of addressing all system requirements, development, design, production, operation and support. Ensures all clear understanding of customer requirements and formulates and manages a plan to obtain timely and quality products. No relocation assistance is provided with this position. No phone calls, please.
Experience and Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
* A currently active Secret level security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required; Current Secret clearance is strongly preferred
* Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent is required
* 15+ years of experience with system related projects is required. Demonstrated broad leadership skills for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the cost and performance of a project is required. Experience in providing multi-discipline technical support in or performing system requirements analysis, system/platform interoperability, feasibility analysis, technology/conceptual design alternatives analysis, design to ownership, system architectures, system/equipment design, system integration, reverse engineering, risk analysis/mitigation, specification preparation/review, independent verification and validation, and development of System Engineering Management Planning documents is required.
* Prior active duty USMC experience or experience supporting the Marine Corps while working for a DoD contractor is strongly preferred
