The Company
Our client is a leading global reinsurer.
The Role
You are required to source Engineering business within the Asia Pacific region and underwrite Engineering risks in accordance with the company's processes and procedures. You will develop and manage customized reinsurance solutions for the company's engineering business, including all aspects of the primary insurance product and the appropriate reinsurance solutions. Manage post underwriting tasks such as agreeing amendments. Manage operational issues such as data recording systems, regulatory requirements.
Your Profile
You should have a recognised professional engineering qualification. You should have a minimum 10 years of experience in underwriting preferably in re-insurance. Strong engineering background, prior experience dealing with onshore / offshore would be ideal. Knowledge experience of Asia markets is highly desirable. You are independent and self motivated. You have strong communications skills and strong network within the industry.
