Senior Equity Product Specialist, London recruitment
The successful candidate will be responsible for
• Providing leadership in ensuring that the firms investment products are performing and being positioned correctly.
• Working closely with Senior Managers and to serve as an external proxy for the portfolio manager (in person or conference calls with retail and Institutional clients).
• Provide education and training to external clients if the PM is not available.
• Acting as the SME of investment related queries.
• Effectively answer client servicing questions
• Educate internal audiences on investment strategies and products.
• Articulating investment philosophy and performance to potential and existing clients.
• Developing investment content
• Creating strategic and global messaging for the investment team
• Pricing and product strategy
• Execute new product ideas
• Identify new product and business opportunities.
The successful candidate should:
• Have relevant experience within Equities within asset management
• An MBA, a relevant degree (or equivalent)
• Ideally be working towards the CFA
• Have outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Exceptional relationship management skills
• In depth understanding of investment and portfolio management processes.
• Be willing to travel
• Have supervisory/managerial skills
