The equity group requires an experienced senior equity research analyst to join its research team. The role requires
*The ability to take quantitative equity investment ideas all the way from concept…
*…through research and testing…
*…right through to implementation in the team's strategies.
*The key technologies used by the team are SQL and Matlab.
The successful senior equity research analyst will demonstrate the following:
*Securities/equities experience
*Research experience
*Ability to articulate and implement insightful quantitative research on equities
*A good understanding of company fundamental and market data sources and content
*Self-starting individual with a wide knowledge of global equity markets and investment themes, and the authority and confidence to participate in investment decision-making at a senior level
*A strong team-worker and communicator, capable of interacting confidently and successfully with senior fund managers and collaborating effectively with research colleagues
*Excel/VBA is also required
This is an ideal opportunity for the successful senior equity research analyst to work closely with senior fund managers and other analysts to deliver a stream of new investment ideas to develop the equity group's strategies.
