Objective of Role:
We are currently seeking a buy-side Senior Equity Securities Analyst to join our LaSalle Investment Management (Securities) team. LaSalle Investment Management (Securities), a subsidiary of Jones Lang LaSalle, manages over $10 billion of assets on behalf of institutional investors in the public equity markets. We invest in publicly traded real estate oriented businesses across the globe.
Accountabilities:
- Conduct due diligence on public companies and real estate markets by analyzing financial statements, interviewing company management teams and reviewing other sources of market and company information
- Prepare and maintain earnings and valuation models
- Monitor news flow from companies
- Make Buy/Hold/Sell recommendations based on the LaSalle Investment Management (Securities) valuation methodology
- Write reports on companies and real estate sectors
Required Qualifications Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field
- Seeking a candidate with significant equity security analysis experience
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- CFA is a plus
