Senior Estimator
I’m searching for a Senior Estimator for a mid-sized general contractor in Iowa. This
individual needs to have a strong background in estimating and
negotiating commercial and multifamily projects. This is an urgent
position,
and
leadership/mentoring capabilities are desired. Below are a few details
of what we are looking for:
Responsibilities:
· Oversee and provide direction on single, or multiple projects simultaneously
· Ability to estimate on his/her own
· Provide management for the estimators
· Ability to travel regionally, relocation preferred
Requirements:
· 6+ years of proven estimating experience including negotiated skills
· Proven experience working with K-12, federal, higher education, and multifamily projects
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Must be able to oversee multiple projects, including 3 other estimators
· Must have a stable work history
· Construction degree a plus!
· Must have good time management skills and organizational skills
· Strong attention to detail
Compensation:
$70,000 base or higher (D.O.E.)
