Senior European Economist recruitment
Our client, a leading banking institution is looking to add a senior European economist to its Global research function. Reporting directly to the Head of Research you must have:
- Extensive involvement in macroeconomic forecasting, policy and financial market analysis in private sector, policy and academic environments
- Senior experience in providing the medium-term forecast for the euro-area economy
- Proven ability in developing macroeconomic models for the euro area
- Excellent reputation with a wide range of sell-side clients in UK, euro area and globally
- Extensive experience of presenting economic views in print and broadcast media
- Outstanding academic qualifications and European language experience
- An established reputation and good relationships with UK, European and US policymakers and academics
- Responsible for a wide range of publications in various fields of applied macroeconomics.
Candiates must be/have been a minimum of a SVP at a recognised institution
