Overview
Our Client based near Heathrow is currently recruiting a senior to work alongside their Operations manager
You Will:
Be responsible for building consultative relationships with key internal customers to drive service excellence.
Increase utilization of their program and services and ensure success across customer base.
Work with key customers to ensure alignment with services offered and utilized, clarify the role of the central team, and identify opportunity for program improvements that support continued growth
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Ensure complete understanding of the scope of services and role of the central meetings team and align this with customer expectations
- Develop a detailed understanding of the customer’s specific objectives, philosophy, business drivers by conducting due diligence in phone and face to face meetings.
- Coordinate delivery of internal meetings/seminars for customers to ensure ongoing communication of the policy, program, services, etc.
- Provide continuous recommendations for program improvements.
- Provide clear business case for recommended changes, and provide clients with information needed to make an informed decision.
- Support role of program delivery elements utilizing standard processes and procedures to achieve client satisfaction. Such duties may include managing or coordinating a team in the meeting/event planning process, financial and contract management, etc.
- Proactively escalate potential client or program issues for timely resolution.
- Work closely with supplier partners and internal support areas to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Provide program feedback to all stakeholders through summary and distribution program debrief notes for inclusion in account review.
- Presents creative and innovative solutions to internal customers as required
- Escalate delivery issues through notification of management to ensure continuous improvement of ME processes, procedures and tools.
- Collaborate with on-site internal customers.
- Utilizes StarCite technology to support internal customer requirements
- Responsible for creating and maintaining project plans and key customer profiles
Skills and Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-8 years of Meeting/Event Management experience required, Typical experience 10+ years
- CMP designation an asset, formal Project Management designation/training an asset
- College diploma or degree in related field desired
- Experience handling a wide variety of sizes and types of events, including small meetings.
- Proven ability in Project Management
- Proven success at driving and delivering service excellence
- Strong communications skills: verbal, written and consultative skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under stressful situations
- Strong multi-tasker who works well under pressure.
- Ability to travel to programs as needed
- Knowledge of StarCite
