KPMG Corporate Finance is a leading corporate finance adviser nationally and internationally. The Valuations/Financial Modelling team is a dedicated group that provides technically sound and commercially focused valuation, financial model build and related services to a varied client base. The team works on external stand-alone projects and also contributes to wider KPMG Corporate Finance transactions.
We are offering the opportunity for a self-motivated, high performing and talented corporate financial modeller with proven business development capabilities to join us as a senior team member. Working closely with the Perth office’s Financial Modelling team leader you will be given a significant level of responsibility for business development and the day to day operations of the financial modelling team, whilst also working with the wider Valuations team.
Whilst working across a range of industries, it is expected that your principal focus will be on the resources sector.
Particular skills and experience we are looking for include:
• a strong interest in financial modelling and extensive financial model build and review abilities, particularly in relation to resource projects;
• at least 5-7 years relevant experience, preferably in a Big 4, mid-tier or investment banking environment;
• proven business development capabilities
• a solid understanding of valuation concepts;
• exceptional report writing skills; and
• a resilient team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
