Senior Executive

Ernst Young's Economics Advisory team provide deep sector knowledge with strong technical skills in economics, econometrics and quantitative analysis to address key issues in strategy, regulation, competition, planning, valuation and government policy.

We are looking for skilled post-graduates or equivalent professionals with experience in economics to grow our team to the next level.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Executive will include:

*Building relationships with clients and Ernst Young teams that reflect credibly on the team

*Recognising opportunities to contribute to client issues when they arise and assists in providing solutions

*Managing junior members of project teams

*Delivering to demanding deadlines maintaining the discipline and quality of output

*Providing or contributing to economic analysis as part of client engagements

*Preparing and presenting clear reports to support these analyses and solutions.

Qualifications/skills you'll need as a Senior Executive:

*Suitable applicants will have several years of experience as economist/corporate planner in the telecommunications, media and technology industries employed in the private, regulatory or the public policy sector and will be highly numerate and analytical Master-level Economics graduates

*Strong academic and professional background in Economics, Business or Industrial Economics or Econometrics

*Experience of competition and regulatory economics, strategy, business planning, costing and pricing

*Experience of applying economic theory to the development and evaluation of public and regulatory policy

*Experience of the development economic impact assessment

*Demonstrate a strong understanding of Excel and other suitable solution platforms.
