Position Description:
BSEE with 7+ years of experience in system on chip devices.
Broad PHY level experience with SATA, USB, SAS, and PCIe.
Able to debug overall issues on disk drives/SSD including design of new features to solve current system integration issues, solve interface issues between components (passive and active), provide technical presentations on the hardware provide strong firmware support.
Familiar with Instruments such BERT, TDR, spectrum analyzer, AWG, and high speed digital sampling scope.
Familiar with jitter measurement and receiver jitter tolerance test. Familiar with OOB and partial/slumber mode testing.
Proven customer relationship buildup and resolving customers’ issues involving SERDES setup, signal integrity, EMI, and board design.
Need to have a strong technical knowledge of disk drive products. MSEE with 2+ years experience preferred.

Qualifications:
Responsible for SATA 3.0 USB3.0 device qualifications with customers.
Working with other engineers to develop/maintain internal testing suite to maintain standard compliance, chip maturity and consistency.
Establishes goals and objectives with the sales staff and representatives of each target account.
Qualifies design activity at the customer engineering level.
Provides technical support to customers including customer visits and field design support.
Participates in the definition of new products and the identification of niche areas that present new opportunities for Marvell.
Makes new product recommendations to Design/Marketing.
