Senior Finance Analyst for Lloyds Insurance Company

This role sits within the financial planning function of a global insurance and reinsurance provider. Operating across 50 countries this is one of the world’s largest property and casualty insurers with superb head quarter offices based in the city. They have just announced excellent profits and have strong growth levels predicted for the future.

This is six month interim role sat within their financial planning and analysis team. The role is responsible for provision of financial analysis support across all the forecasting, planning and actual cycles for the syndicate. This will include quarterly forecasts, the annual plan and strategic outlook for the business as well as modelling on an ad hoc basis for new initiatives.

The client is looking for a qualified accountant with experience of financial planning and analysis within a general insurance / reinsurance business, ideally looking at property and casualty. Candidates must have strong Lloyds of London Market experience and be able to complete SBF (Syndicate Business Forecast) submissions to Lloyds. As well as these technical competencies applicants must be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management with strong commercial acumen and exceptional analytical skills. Prior experience of working with management information tools such as (TM1, Cognos and Qlickview) are also required
